WELCOMES NEW TRAINING COORDINATOR

SHARON MASSEY!!!

Sharon is a native of Wetumpka, Alabama.  A graduate of Troy State University, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with major emphasis of study in Marketing. 

Sharon was employed with the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce as a Convention Sales Manager.  During this time, she worked with national and statewide associations to plan and develop conferences in Montgomery.  She was instrumental in establishing workshops and training for the service industry in the River Region.

Some employees may remember Sharon, as a staff representative for the Alabama State Employees Association, where she served as the District 9 field representative for 8 years before moving into the Director of Membership Development position.

Most recently, she was the Regional Director for the American Heart Association, directing major individual and corporate fundraising campaigns in central and south central Alabama.  Additionally, she coordinated statewide education initiatives. 

Sharon is married to Jarrod Massey; they two children Jackson 10, and Kohner 8. 

They attend Trinity Episcopal Church in Wetumpka.  Volunteer efforts have included the board of Festival in the Park, having served as a past president.   Also, she is member of the board of directors for Holy Cross Episcopal School.  She has served on the Vestry for her church, and recently ended a term as the PTF President.   In her free time, she enjoys working in the yard and reading.
